Wild Aware Day

*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 06/10/2017
What should you do if you see a rattlesnake? Do coyotes really eat small dogs? Come find out at Wild Aware Day!

Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.

Hogle Zoo, and its outreach program Wild Aware Utah, are teaming up with various local and national wildlife groups and agencies, to help the public learn about predators and other wildlife - especially those found in Utah and the surrounding areas. Meet Zoo keepers and learn what you can do if you encounter animals in the wild, or right in your neighborhood. Stop by our display of a "bad" campsite and a "bear aware" campsite. Also, check out some of our Hogle Zoo animals as they interact with special enrichment items.
