Honoring Tradition
The Flag Ceremony is a time to pause and reflect on the values that unite us as a community and as a country. This combined evening brings together tradition, storytelling, and shared experiences in a simple and meaningful way.
Featured Community Voice
As part of this year’s program, the winner of the Mapleton Pioneer Days Essay Contest will share their essay. This year’s theme invites participants to reflect on their “American Story” or a meaningful community story that highlights unity, growth, and lessons from the past that can guide our future.

- Youth (ages 10–17): 400–800 words
- Adult (18+): 800–1,200 words
