Reading, Spelling and Language Skills Development Program:
Primary Skills (First through Third Grade reading levels)
Fall 2015
Fee $300 for 15 classes
- SEC. 51Y-35: MWH 4:00-5:30 P.M., Nov. 2 - Dec. 9 (Nov. 25 and 26 are holidays)
Intermediate Skills (Third through Sixth Grade reading levels)
Fall 2015
Fee $300 for 15 classes
- SEC. 51Y-37: MWH 4:00-5:30 P.M., Nov. 2 - Dec. 9 (Nov. 25 and 26 are holidays)
Secondary Skills (Junior and Senior High School reading levels)
Fall 2015
Fee $300 for 15 classes
- SEC. 51Y-39: MWH 4:00-5:30 P.M., Nov. 2 - Dec. 9 (Nov. 25 and 26 are holidays)
Reading classes emphasize sound-symbol relationships, phonics, structural analysis, and comprehension. Penmanship, spelling, writing, and proofing skills are also taught. Students progress at their own rate. Special classes focusing on the study skills (selecting the topic and main idea, determining relevancy, outlining, following directions, surveying chapters and books, and reading graphic aids), speed reading and comprehension, and reading and grammar for the non-English speaker are also available. Please call for special classes.
Preschool Programs
Parent and Infant Class (Parent(s) and Their Six to 36 Month-old Children)
Fee $20 per class withchildren. (No charge for extra parent classes.)
Fall 2015
- SEC. 53Y-31: T TH 9:15-10:15 A.M., Nov. 3 - Dec. 1 (Nov. 26 is a holiday)
Preschool (Three and Four-year-olds)
Fee $220/month (Three Days a Week) or $150/month (Two Days a Week)
Fall 2015
- SEC. 53Y-32: MWF or T TH 8:50-11:30 A.M. or 12:40-3:20 P.M.
Full day is available. Five days a week is also available.
Tutoring for reading/language or mathematics instruction is available at $40.00 per hour. Times are arranged as desired.
