MOVE IT! New Exhibit Opening

Kids will love the new Move It exhibit—a giant open play space where they can develop their gross motor skills with fun physical activities including a challenging obstacle course, dig pit, and large mat area for yoga, jump roping, and hula hooping. With all that jumping, balancing, hoping, crawling, sliding, stretching, and digging, the 60 minutes of recommended daily play and physical activity will move by quickly!
Discovery Gateway is a designated Good to Grow museum by the Association of Children’s Museums, and the Move It exhibit is part of our Good to Grow programming. The Good to Grow initiative’s key messages are eating good foods, getting plenty of exercise, reducing screen time, and connecting with the outdoors.
DG’s Good to Grow Yoga teacher Charlotte Light will lead a yoga demo in Move It at 10:30 am for members, and again at 11 am for the public opening.
