Mad Science runs Science camps along the Wasatch Front. June 20-24 we have camps at: American Fork Fitness Center, Cottonwood Heights Rec Center, CTEC, Eccles Community Art Center, Marmalade Branch Library, Park City High School, and Sego Lily School.

Hop on board the chemistry express where students perform amazing experiments with split-second reactions!  Students take home Crazy Chemworks Labware plus much more!

Rockin’ Rockets and Radical Robots: 9am-Noon, $175.

Explore the laws of physics and aerodynamics learn about circuits and programming while you build your own launchable rocket and Radical Robot.  Price includes $10 material fee.

Secret Agent Lab: 9am-noon, Mon.-Thurs., $130; 9am-4pm, Mon.-Thurs., $260.

Focus on the sciences used by spies and detectives in this hands-on look at crime scenes and spy gadgets.  Identify and collet evidence, analyze fingerprints and trawl through the suspects’ trash.  Campers will use science to connect the dots and help sniff out the suspects in this look at the world of spies and sleuths!

Anatomy Academy: 9am-Noon, $145.

Mad Science is on a mission to fascinate campers with the inner workings of the human body.  This heart pumping, chest pounding, dynamic discovery camp is sure to blow their mind!  Use ooey-gooey ingredients to build a model cell.  Follow the “Organ Trail” to find out what keeps us alive.  Join Mad Science for a gross look at the human body!

 

 

Marmalade Branch Library

Brixology: 1pm-4pm, $175.00.

This camp sets the foundation for our next generation of makers! Children learn about different types of engineering and then team up to construct a different engineering-themed project using LEGO bricks.  We’ll learn about aerospace engineering as they assembling a space station.  They explore mechanical engineering as they build boats and vehicles.  That’s not all, from carnival rides to drawing machines, mechanical animals to truss bridges; your future engineer will build upon their creativity to solve real-world design challenges, while developing their problem-solving and team-building skills.  Let the tinkering begin!

From our earth’s atmosphere to the outer reaches of our solar system, this hands-on space program sends children on a quest for explorations!  The exploration includes finding out how an astronaut lives, learning about suns, stars and planets, and building, decorating and launching a model rocket!  Join us for some Space sized fun!

Love to build and take things apart?  You are an engineer!  Let us help you find what kind of engineering is in your future.  Cool Chemical – do some radical reactions that are colorful and electrifying. Solid Civil – build bridges and structures out of all kinds of materials.  Spacy Aeronautical – let’s take a trip to find what’s out there.  Electrifying Computer – explore coding and send mad messages.
