Buzz up to NHMU on August 12 and 13 for BUGfest 2023! The bee-themed festival features expert speakers, amazing specimens, our famous Bug Bar, and face painting and crafts for the kids

BUGfest is back at the Natural History Museum of Utah on August 12 & 13, 2023! Join us on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. The theme of this year’s festival is bees, and we’ll celebrate the Beehive State’s favorite invertebrate and the nearly 1000 bee species that sustain our state’s diverse ecosystems. We'll have expert speakers, displays of amazing specimens, our famous Bug Bar, face painting, craft activities, interactive learning opportunities, and hive fives all around. We'll even have a few things to be excited about for Museum Members and new members alike!
