Have a story in your head that’s waiting to be drawn? In this fun, hands-on Procreate class, students will dream up, write, and illustrate their very own short book on the iPad.

This class will introduce GESTURE and simplify the figure into basic geometric shapes. We will observe and practice proportions, simple anatomy, and costuming/clothing. We will learn drawing rhythms that track through the figure to create symmetry and flow to your lines. This study will be a great way to add people to your sketches and paintings. We will use smooth newsprint and Charcoal pencils with kneaded erasers to begin with. Bring a sketchpad and pencils too!
