Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake provide a safe place, fun and friendship, activities, and youth development programs to more than 400 kids each day. Our programs promote academic success, good character & citizenship, and healthy lifestyles.
Boys & Girls Clubs provide a safe place, caring adult mentors, fun and friendship, and high-impact youth development programs on a daily basis during critical non-school hours. Club programs promote academic success, good character and citizenship, and healthy lifestyles. Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Salt Lake has played an integral role in the community for 44 years providing services to more than 400 kids each day with four locations in the Salt Lake area – Lied, Sugar House, Capitol West and Tooele. In a Harris Survey of alumni, 57 percent said the Club saved their lives.

Our Youth Development Strategy promotes the development of young people by instilling a sense of competence, a sense of usefulness, a sense of belonging and a sense of power or influence. When this strategy is fully implemented, self-esteem is enhanced and an environment is created which helps boys and girls achieve their full potential.
